An 18 year old boy died during a cricket match... Batsmen and bowler had an argument and then it went all wrong.

Well, i play cricket with many Pakistanis & this is nothing new for me. I argue & even fought against some of them however, were all friends & i have friends that will fight with me if a silly bowler tries to get me out. Well, in a situation like that people or youth must have friends to back up in a conflict like this incident of Delhi.

well firstly i'm thankfully that thus far no idiots on here have used to stir racsist remarks which i think is credit to all users on here as this is not the place to do it

secondly, this is horrific and disgraceful, cricket is just a game, no matter how much you love it, it should never be a potentially fatal situation, may this boy rest peacfully and his family and friends be comforted

Disgusting, and unfortunately not all that shocking. Every day I read about a death caused by a beating/stabbing/assault. I think police and the system are not doing enough. Jail time is too easy.

For the batsmen to actually use his bat as a weapon against the other person is a disgrace!! The whole situation is a disgrace!! the umpire should have seen that there was a potential volatile situation about to occur and the umpire should have broken it up straight away.

Every day you hear about unfortunately incidents such as, teenagers getting shot in the middle of the street, but in this instance the whole situation could have been avoided!!
