EXPLAIN the difference in the relative abilities of 2 sovent systems "A" (5ml chloroform mixed with 5ml acetone) and "B" (5ml toluene with 2ml chloroform, 0.5mlacetic acid & 0.5ml methanol) to separate the components using thin layer chromatography.

Remember TLC requires polarity differences to achieve separation.  Ask yourself what sort of polarity differences you have in your solvent systems above.  This is the key to the answer.
