If i deleted pictures off of my camera, how do i get them back on?

If you deleted them off your memory card, you're never getting them back. I just deleted pictures from a concert the other night, and I was freaking mad!

When you delete something off of a flash card, you are actually de-allocating them from the filesystem and not actually removing the data itself.

Same is true for hard drives. When you format your hard drive....the data is NOT really gone. In fact, it never is.

It is possible to recover these missing "leafs" on the file system tree, or even the entire trunk itself if you formatted your card accidentally. Formatting the memory card also, just de-allocates the trunk of the filesystem, but doesnt actually remove the binary data on the card itself.

Some apps that can do it are

Bad Copy Pro and Photorescue pro

I've used both and then I switched to lexar's proprietary recovery software because it was free with my memory card.

I'm sure you will get all your pictures back with any one of these apps.

They are try it before you buy it so you can see if it works...the pictures will be displayed as previews...and then buy it if your ready recover the actual files.

Any one of these apps is good to have around in case of an emergency....

Make sure you try them first, not every recovery method works on every type of memory card. If you get no results, try the another program. My favorite was photorescue pro.

These will also recover pictures if you memory card get an error because of corruption.

Once you delete the off your camera you can't get them back unless they have been saved to your computer before hand.

To add to Dash's answer. There are many recovery programs around. If you have taken any pictures since then they are probably lost. Your pictures can easily be recovered until you save something on the card at that point they are probably gone forever.

So do not take any pictures until you run the recovery software.

if their on your computer you can get them back but if they aren't and you deleted then sorry you can't get them back
