Question:

Digital Camera Recommendations? :)?

I'm looking for a digital camera as a present for my mother. I'm looking for something easy to use (not too many buttons/features!!). Its got to be good on batteries so she's not changing them constantly. Also got to be at least 7MP. And preferrably something good value. Bear in mind she's in her 50's, so something she would be able to use easily without to much fiddling or setting up. Thx.

  1. I'd recommend any point-and-shoot camera. Most come with an automatic setting which would be great for someone who doesn't know too much about cameras.

You could even head up to your local Best Buy or other electronics store and browse around for a camera that looks like it'd suit your mother and ask around there and stuff and then come back home and search for that same camera on eBay or Amazon, etc to find a decent price.

As for my mom, I got her a simple Sony "Cyber-Shot" camera and she loves it. =]

  2. HP cameras are the easiest to use

  3. sony dsc-w120,150,170 or canon SD850IS, 790 IS, 870 IS

  4. I use a Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ5K 9MP Digital Camera with 10x Wide Angle MEGA Optical Image Stabilized Zoom.

It's really easy to use and takes great pictures.

  5. head up to walmart and you could try sanyo xacti vpc e760(7.1) and dont worry its cheap so if your on a budget its under 100 dollars. or you can a canon sd750 digital elph(7.2) its 159.99-199.99
