hey guys i watched the recently concluded german open and congratulations on safina for her tremendous win.

guys did u see the excessive sweating on safinas body during the entire match and doesnt she uncomfortable in this sweaty clothes as she did not change her dress.

I agree with sportsfan. Who cares that she sweats really bad lol She`s an athlete and worked really hard for that tremendous win. Im sooo happy she won, she deserved it :)

Yeah, I don't think she was too concerned with her appearance.  She was probably wearing some sort of fabic that wicks sweat away from the body, so she probably was not that uncomfortable.  I wear something similar and you really don't notice it so much, even if you sweat a lot.  I kept looking at her, and Safina looks like she's twelve or something with those little chipmunk cheeks - but she's cute enough I guess, and I think she can really move up in the rankings if she can improve her self confidence.  I agree that she deserves congrats for that impressive performace against Dementieva.

Except for the vain Sharapova, I dont think these women are concerned with how their bodies look with sweat while battling opponents and the heat. Kudos to Safina for a huge win, but not sure if it is a Russian thing or not, but seems most after recording huge wins, suddenly pull out of the following weeks tourney with an injury, only to come back in the next weeks tourney, quite strange.

both players played amazingly last week! they're going to be tremendous fear factors for the top players at RG. but yeah safina does sweat alot....svetlana does as well. i dunno i think it might have something to do with their conditioning and the fact that she and sveta both live in generally mild/warm climates-safina in monte carlo,sveta in barcelona. that could be a possibility.
