Dining on Bear in Chicagoland?

Hello, is there a restaurant in or near Chicago that serves bear meat? Thanks.

  1. Metromix does have a list of restaurants in the area that identify themselves as serving "game," but none really look like they'd include bear on the menu:

  2. There are many that serve ostrich and buffalo but I don't know of any that serve bear meat.

  3. There was a place in Chicago that served game and other interesting meats called Grizzlies - now gone.  Not sure if anyone has jumped into this game / space in Chicago.  Last time my friend wanted a very different dinner he tried to go this route and failed in the wake of Grizzlies closing.

    You might call Paulina Meat Market and see if they a) have bear and b) can refer you to a restaurant that serves this - they have some interesting things there.
