I have a Direct TV HD DVR Is there a way to transfer recorded shows from the dvr to my pc?

  1. right now, a capture card is the only way.

    Tivo branded DVR's have the capability of transferring programs from DVR to PC, and back again.


  2. The easiest way is through the purchase and usage of a Capture Card.
