Dirt bike Size??????

Question

I have been searching for a dirt bike for my brother and I. Many Bikes I have found have an average seat height of about 30 inches...is this a decent size? Please consider that I'm 5' 5'' and am only 14 years old, so I still have a lot of growing to do. And my brother is 3 years older and a few inches taller. Is 30 inches a tall enough bike for us?

for you i would go for a 250f. yes it has a lot of power, but its a four stoke so you are able to go real slow if you wanted to. i race a 125 2stroke but thats because i can handle the sharp powerband. but for you i would go for a 250f.

and for you little brother i would go for a pw50.

this is because pw50's are disigned to be ridable up to about 6. he will be able to ride it now and for a few more years to come.

and if i were you and your not planing on buying new parts every month i would go with honda because out of all the bike they are the most reliable and the cheapest to maintain

im 13 and 5' 2", and i ride a Honda xr100r.  You should look for a CRF Honda, there just the best, and will last a long time.

I suggest that u go a little bigger as ull be sharing with ure brother.  u see it can be a little big for a few reasons:

1. you wont have to buy another for a while

2. when ure riding, it is better not to touch the ground (makes you a better rider)

3.bigger=faster=funner

4.i have ridden 400s, as long as ure moving, size doesnt matter

Yamaha 125cc should do for you. My cousin is 13, he's a little smaller than you and can reach the ground with his tippie toes. I'm 5"5 with a 125 and can reach the ground, it will be a great bike for you.

too small... i think  maby a ttr-125LE would be good for you and yor brother whould grow into it too. the seat hight is 32".

no thats really small. You wanna look for a 125 or a 250F. They are about 35 inches. 30 is way to small and you wanna go just a little larger

get a 150 honda or a 105 ktm!!!! they are both big wheel and lots of fun.

i have the 105 and it is good for racing!!!!!!!!
