Dirt in my Digital Rebel

Question

Whenever I look through the viewfinder of my camera I can see bits of dirt although after taking a picture the image doesn't have any dirt on it. I've tried cleaning the mirror/prism thing inside but all I seem to succeed in doing is moving the dirt from one side to the other!! Does anyone know how I can get it completely clean?
