Disappearing pregnancy test result?

Question

I took a Tesco brand pregnancy test, for a positive you get one line in the control window and one in the result window (both of which are vertical)...The result I got was a vertical line in the control window and a horizontal (?!) line in the result window...does anyone have any idea what this may mean?

Also the horizontal line faded after the 10 minutes you are supposed to read the result in (it seemed to get fainter and fainter and then disappeared completely!!)

any ideas or opinions welcome!!

they do faid after awhile but not that quick it depends on the preg test  and how good it is if its a low sensitive its not very good

That happened to me before - i wasn't actually pregnant when that happened and the test was faulty. Go out and buy a new one.

The test should have come with a set of instructions. The instructions should be able to help you trouble shoot and how to interpret the test.

if the test limit is less then 10 minutes then it could of just went away because the tests begins to be no good...maybe the test is a defect..get another one..if you really want to be sure stick with digital

Sounds defective! Try a different test in a name brand!

The test was a dud.  You should get another test and disregard the first one.  

It's frustrating, I know, but you should get First Response tests with the two vertical lines in the same window.  I used those for all three of my pregnancies.
