  1. both drives can play, write and read..

  2. DVD CD/ RW is a DVD AND CD player . It can also write CD's for you- if you have mp3's you want to make a CD of, use that drive to do so. The other drive is a DVD player and will also write DVD's for you if you have movies on your pc, you can copy them. cool capabilities.

Remember to get the correct blank cd's for either project.

    RW stands for re-write.

  4. DVD/CD-RW means it can play dvd and record only on the cd and is rewritable meaning you can use a disk that you can put files on and delete and or move.

THe DVD rw means that you can do both dvd and Cd's and arerewritablee.

but you have to have the rewritable disk to do this they will have the RW but look at the whether they are + or - that you will have to look at the make and look up on the net or manuel.

  5. hi dear

DVD/CD-RW Drive (D:) - This drive can perform both operation like read and write(burn) cd. This drive can read the DVD but can not write.

DVD RW Drive (E:) -  This drive can perform both operation like read and write(burn) DVD as well as read and write CD also
