Disney World wedding?

has anyone or does anyone know anyone who has had there wedding is disney world? how much was it, did your guest enjoy it etc.?

I am getting married there in Oct. 2010. There website is very helpful and you can call if you have questions, I have.

They start at $4,000 for a small wedding, the next is $10,000 and up from there depending on what you want

If you want to get married at Disney World you probably aren't old enough or mature enough to get married. Just my opinion.

If you google Disney Wedding you will find a ton of other people spending way too much money on a "Goofy" wedding plan.

One of my close friends just went to one, and beforehand, she was skeptical.  She assumed it would be cheesy and over the top.  But when she returned, she said it was lovely and very classy.  Sorry I can't help about the cost factor.  Best of luck!

I've never been to one, but I have researched it, and it is VERY expensive.

An "intimate" wedding (w/ only 8 guests) costs around $3K!

But I bet it's worth every cent (if I had the money in the first place)

I don't know much about them except that Disney built a special chapel and pavilion specifically for their weddings.

I would love to get married there, i got a free dvd off the disney site it tells you all about weddings at disney, go on the site and see if you can find it, Good Luck!!!

Disney weddings START at $75,000.   Start... most are more expensive than that.

I see many posts that say they satrt a $4,000. I think that is teh ceremony. I am talking the whole deal, reception, decor, everything.

I hired a Disney decorator for my own wedding and he came with a hefty price tag.

Never been, thought about it though. And no, wanting a wedding in Disney isn't immature as others stated. We have a daughter, so I thought it would be nice for her, and for our families. Who doesn't love Disney? No matter how old.
