  1. there's a phone number somewhere on the site you can call, they might give you blackout dates then if you tell them when you're thinking of going.

from what i understand, if you have a pass and you go on a blackout date you can buy a one day blackout ticket that's cheaper than a regular one day park-hopper.

  2. You can call them and have them mailed to you.

  3. id suggest going with premium, which doesnt have any. Plus free parking and discounts

  4. Blockout dates are days your pass is not valid.  But for an additional fee ($40.00) you can purchase a blockout date pass.  Blockout dates varies on the type of pass you would like to purchase.  A Premium passport has no blockout dates but there are times especially on New Year's Eve when the gates will not except any AP holders but resort guests only due to overcrowding.  Most locals have a Deluxe Annual Passport.  Deluxe Passports have blockout dates every Saturday except in Feb and Oct., all major holidays and the last week of December is usually blockout till New Year's Day. Below that is the So Cal Passport which has every Friday and Saturday blockout except in Feb and Oct for Fridays, holidays, and all summer.  And below that is So Cal Select which is the same as the So Cal but this includes Sundays as well.

Here is there direct link.  It's kinda trick to nagivator the Disneyland Website.
