I up until about 6 weeks ago I was running allmost everyday and slowly increasing my mileage up to 5 miles a day, but I was running at an 11 mintute mile pace. so I need to get my mileage back up, AND pick up my speed to at least 8 minute miles. I just don't know how to do that all at the same time. HELP?

  1. By getting your endurance up your speed will definately increase withought you doing anything. You should do one speed workout every week and take one day off. The other five days you should just work on endurance. This will work. I promise.      : )

  2. You should be working on endurance first. One you can run the number of miles you want, then you can work on running faster. To get faster do speed work, tempo runs, sprints and incorporate plyometrics into your workouts.
