shouldn't effect his status because hes already in "Removal". He is hiding from immigration. He had drug charges dismissed last year.

Divorcing him wont put immigration on a hot pursuit to find him & deport him, would it??

  1. Hi,

Depends on how long you were married, if you were married more than 3 years, it will be hard to deport him. Remember, there are many laws, it's not easy to simply for immigration to find him and deport him.

If he leaves the country during his residence trial and does not come back in 6 months he will have problems and USCIS will deny his residency.

Call USCIS ans ask them directly what to do, they have the correct answers.

    My 2 cents!

    Good luck
