Do All Blacks cheat?

Bearing in mind they have dominated rugby for a few decades except the early 2000`s,do you think there is any underhand reason?

The only thing they do that could be classified as cheating is the way they are very lax in controlling who plays for them.

Many of their squads have no family links to New Zealand at all, but are poached from the South Pacific islands if they are good enough.

This is why countries like Tonga, Fiji & Samoa haven't progressed as far as they could have.

the all blacks have a recipe for success. They have size speed and strength. Particularly in the size of their becks compared to all other countries is huge. I remember a match where the NZ wing weighed 20kgs more than the opposite wing and he was probably faster than him 2.

One thing of NZ rugby that different to all other nations is they have much less politics and problems like that. An organized team performs really well.

If you want to see cheating watch the Aussies they have mastered the art.

Lets be honest, which rugby team in the world doesn't "cheat". Rugby is a professional game and if you can get the better of your opponent by bending the rules a bit, go for it. It not like they are using steroids or any other illegal substances.

If New Zealand have alway been been professional (as some argue) - then frankly every second of allblack RU achievement (even now  - we have professional rugby) is completely meaningless.

As for cheating - all teams do what the ref either "fails to spot" is soft on - or they can get away with..Leicester won the Heinekin cup by blatently cheating - so it's not just New Zealand..

If Rugby was played to the letter it would frankly be unwatchable.

they take the best players from Samoa, Fiji and Tonga and make them New Zealanders.  How many of the All Blacks look as though they are decended from the European settlers?  Not many.

No they don't.  They just want it more.  When they got knocked out of the last world cup there were councilling centres for people to go and see.  It is religion in New Zealand. Just like soccer in Brazil.  And they don't poach players.  People like Jo Rokococo, Jerry Collins and Tana Umanga due owe their heritage to other pacific nations, however they played all their school and junior Rugby in New Zealand and lived in New Zealand for most of their lives.  Otherwise they could not qualify to play for the All Blacks.

The team they have is a brilliant squad, one which will probably win the world cup. They dont cheat on the field. But the do poach all the good players from the south pacific, which is not right.

No they are just really good. Its there national sport and everytime they take the pitch the whole of New Zealand expects them to win and that expectation leads to them working harder and achieving it also leads to more pride in the jersey than most other nations.
