Do Guppies and swordtails go together?

Im getting some fish and i want guppies and swordtails, do they do well in the same tank??? Wat r the best freshwater fish that go together that r cheap??????

yes they will be fine together

just make sure you have at least a 15 gallon tank though, because swords get to be quite big

yes its ok to keep them together but be aware they breed like crazy so if you dont want alot of them. make sure you keep them separate or just get females.

you can also get the feeder goldfish if you have a aqurium with a good filter they are usually 5 for 1.00 or cheaper. but be aware the pet store will tell you thay are feeder fish and they may not live long... i had mine for 2 years;) good luck

In very simple terms: Yes

In not so simple terms: Yes, absolutely!

In horribly complex terms: Yes, absolutely! As long as you have the space in your tank for more fish.

Without sounding dorky: Yes, these fish are fully compatible.

They will go together fine, just be aware that they are both livebearers that breed constantly. You will have a full tank before you know it. Good luck!!

Guppies and swordtails are fine together. Usually, most livebearers about the same size do alright together. Mollies, and Platies will also do fine with them.

Just a word of caution, swordtails are fast and great  jumpers! I would make sure you have a good lid on your tank.

Also, they breed like crazy. The males are the most colorful of the different types of species but keeping just males could be dangerous because they can become territoral.

yup the can be together you can add black mollies, zebra fish, white sailfin, rainbow fish.
