OK, so I am a junior in high school on the varsity track/xc team. My PR's are 20:40 in 5k and a 5:45 mile. Also a 12:27 2 mile. Well, a few weeks ago, I ran a two mile and got a horrific time. It was hot that day, but not so hot that I run a 13:30 2 mile. From then on, I have just been getting bad times....I have had difficult time breathing on runs and workouts with the team. However, we have sorta gotten faster. WE used to run at an 8 minute mile pace. Now we run like 7:45-7:50 pace. Today, I raced a 2 mile and got 13:30 again. My breathing was pretty much the only thing holding me back. Breathing never used to be a problem for me. Now it is just heavier than usual. And on my cool down it was bad. But that could have been because I was sorta crying. please help. i dont know if i have asthma or WHAT!
