Do Poles and Ukrainians get along?

Depending on where. In the US/Canada, they do because now they are both considered Whites/Caucasian vs other groups. They get along even better if the Ukrainians are Catholic.

In the old Poland they did not. Ukrainians were deported ( particularly those who were not Catholic) and treated like servants if they were not. In Ukraine, they do now, I guess especially if the Poles can speak the language.

However, the history of Ukraine is full of stories how Poles exploited Ukrainians and how then Ukrainians massacred Poles and destroyed entire villages populated by them.

Among nationalistic Ukranians there is even a saying "Lyakhi, Zhydy y Moskali, zluschi vorohi samostiynoy Ukrayini"- I will not translate, please ask a Ukrainian to do so. So, to answer your question, sometimes they did and sometimes they killed each other en masse. Nowadays, sometimes they do and sometimes they don't, but the killing has largely stopped.
