Do Swirlies actually happen?

Today at school after I accused this kid in my class of cheating in sport. He grabbed me in a headlock and said he wouldn't let go until I apologised. When I said I never would he walked me to the toilets and gave me a swirlie. After 20 minuets I couldn't take it anymore and just apologised, so he stopped.

A Swirlie is when you hold the victims head in the toilet and flush.
