Do animals actually cry.?

  1. animals do not cry in the way that humans do, they do produce tears.

  3. I think they can. That's a good question. I now they make crying sounds but I don't know if they have tears. Great question!

  4. Yes animals do cry and have feeling too. I'm not sure if all actually make tears, but there are many that do.

    A long time ago, my mother's dad died and he had this buffalo (farm-type area) and it loved him very much. He was the only person that it was close to and trusted.

    They were carrying my grandpa's body and they passed by the buffalo. My mom said it had a bunch of tears in its eyes. My mom was really young when that happened.

    Animals do cry! :(

    Poor buffalo...my grandpa was the only one it really liked.

  5. Most animals do not cry to express grief as we do, though almost all have tear ducts to keep the eyes clean.  Animals express sadness in other ways though you can usually tell just by their actions and the look in their eyes.

  9. yes they do, i took my dog to the vet and they were drawing blood from her leg. she jerked and they had to stick her again. as i was comforting her i saw a tear roll down from her eye, it broke my heart
