Hindu's believe that the cow is sacred and hence do not eat beef at all. So I guess it depends on the religion or your perspective. I would say yes everything has a soul.

i know i'm going to p**s off a few people with this one but if we want to say other things have a soul

we would have to prove the soul exisits in the frist place

and since the soul is for the most part a faith issue that would be next to impossible

so untill we prove the soul is something we cant hope to say for sure one way or another that anyone one thing has a soul

Everything living thing has a soul.  Everything that God/dess has created has a soul and returns to God/dess when it passes.
