Do dreams connect with reality?

Question

A year ago my grandmother saw in her dream an angel without legs and after she woke up my uncle broke his legs.

Some months ago my mother saw in her dreams that I was touching with my arms the holly light and that day I broke my right arm.

Also yesterday I saw in my dream cats without a head and when I woke up my cat died.

Do you think that dreams connect with reality?

And yesterday I read in a book that it says that if you imagine something really hard it actually happens.

What is your opinion about that?

It sounds to me like your family has some latent psychic abilities that are passed down through the female generations. Dreams in general are rants that your mind goes on. Sometimes it may tie in with the reality of your life because that is what you live or sometimes it may be totally different - sort of a vacation for the mind. What you are describing is being able to see the future or pieces of another person's (animal's life). This sounds like more of a psychic ability. As far as if you imagine hard enough.... this makes sense to me. Think of it this way... if you are really wanting something  and you think of it each day  and  "daydream" or imagine it then you will begin taking steps either consciously or unconsciously to make it happen.

Nope! dreams are not a symbol of reality! Maybe you will benefit more after reading this. All humans have an active cognitive process which makes choices of judgment only while you are conscious! When you sleep the mind has no preconscious control over the thoughts and we call this process of "mania" dreaming.

Dreams connect with what you saw and what you love. In a way they do connect with reality. I am a psychic, so I had a lot of weird dreams when I was growing up. For instance: I went to my friends' house and we went to the zoo and petted goats. In my dream, it would be me as a zoologist, my friend as my asistant and me grooming a panda. I know it seems kind of weird, but that's how dreams are. Also, those kind of dreams mean you are a dream psychic. A dream psychic is when you see something in your dream and it happens or it almost happens. It runs in the family, so you might of got it from your mom. Love connects in dreams when you love someone or are thinking about them.
