I like to think that at least a couple of truly good people will "win" in the end but sadly it always seems that the douchebags of the world are always the winners.

Depends what you mean by good?

If you mean weak, then no not usually because they never 'grasp the nettle' and they get walked over.

If you mean wise then yes they usually do win because they know what and why they are behaving the way they do

ABSOLUTELY! Good people win at everything and they win everyday.   Good people are wise and have good character. Unpleasant things that happen to  good people are lessons in life. They are meant to teach us and others. Sometimes, unpleasant things are imposed on good people because they have the strength to cope with it whereas others could not handle the burden. Peace out.
