Do guinea pigs need passports?

Weird to ask but i have family in the Dominican Republic and i go there for vacation.The problem is that i go for 2 months every time i go there. This year im not going anywhere but next year i am.

1) If guinea pigs need passports how much and how to get one.

they do not it depends if they will let you take them in a carrier on board or under but either way u will pay about a hundered dollar fee then when you bring them back into the united stated they will have to be quarantined for 30 days to check for disease it would be better to just get a pet sitter

No they don't need passports, but you might not be able to get them into the passenger cabin of the plane.  They might have to ride underneath and you might have to pay $100 for a pet fee to ship them.
