Do hamsters have bad eyesight?

My hamster has a clear plastic ball that he loves to run in, but when we try to put him in he gets really scared. I thought it might be because he can't see the ball because its clear. When we try to take him out he doesn't want to leave so I know he likes it. Do you think it's because his eyesight is bad?

yes they have poor eyesight. you can use eye mo to make thier iris clearer this may be due to thier **** is going to thier eyes.

There eye sight surely isnt the best that it could be. Lets just put it at that. They are not like so blind that they run in to walls but they mostley rely on there scent of smell.
