  1. Hi, I don't have any internet sources but my hamster somethimes get's a little bit damp after she's been running in her wheel, she must be sweating because she hasn't got a swimming pool Lol!

But sorry i don't have sources but here's my hamster she's a chubby syrian.

  2. According to various sources I get different answers, though I am swayed toward the answer that hamsters don't have sweat glands which was from a vet source vs the other answers.

The first two sources say they can sweat, the last one is a hamster pet care sheet from a vet med university.

Regardless, if your hamster is "wet" it's probably due to condensation from a water bottle (or sweat from your own hand if you're holding them).

To the person above, not every living thing sweats.  Snakes do not sweat, which is why they have to regulate their temperatures via heat lamps/sun and that's just one example.

    Hope that helps!

  3. no they pant. i used to have one.

  4. Well, every living creature can sweat. A hamster, if kept in the right temperatures, may not seem to sweat at all. But, whenever I hold my hamster for a long time, she starts to sweat a bit. So yes, a hamster can sweat. Hope this helped! ^-^

  5. If they get too hot they will! You see without sweat we couldnt live!!! When you sweat it cools your body down. so yes hamsters can sweat!

  6. no

  7. uhm i dont think so

  8. no - they pant.
