  1. the works is the best to go, its cheap and there's basically everything you need, i've never seen a pen specially for canvas but i've used normal pens on them before

  2. Sharpie actually makes paint pens/markers with different sized tips. which are excellent for canvas.

There's extra-fine, fine, medium, and bold tips and they are around $3 to $5 dollars depending on the size.

You can purchase these at your local art supply store.

  3. If you are painting in oils,a ballpoint pen would do as it would get covered by the paint.(Or pencil).

  4. I think there is a such thing of a canvas pen but I draw on canvas too and I use a normal pen and it works good. also canvas pens are usually about up to $50 even more unless you want a cheap one that doesn't work

    I hope my answer helped.

  5. YEah there are - get yourself into WHSmith, they have all the stuff you will need and its cheap ;)

  6. Any waterproof pen which is lightfast or permanent will do,Sharpies can be bought at 4 for £1 at The Works. The Pentel markers are also very good.
