  2. They live in the Australian outback. I think it's like a desert, but it still has plants and water.

  3. Kangaroos have moved from some areas that are wetter, such as northern, southern and eastern parts of Australia (change due to increasingly varied climate and pollution).  They live in mainland Australia areas that have mulga and mallee scrub grasslands.

    i.e.: scrub is a type of desert.
