why my new-buy e-view ev-1002 usb keyboard malfunctioning? wndows xp cant recognize it?

  1. 99.9% KEYBOARDS are Plug and Play,,

    unless you have wireless keyboard,(some require driver)


  2. You need to go into the bios setup and enable USB keyboard support.

  3. nope. you should just plug it in and it should work. defenlty if its a usb port.

  4. Only if you want to use the special keys like mail, messenger, explorer etc. Then you would have to install the program that came with it.

  5. The keyboard and mouse use a 'standard' HID (human interface device) drivers.  These are in all computer Operating Systems.

    If this is a wireless kb, try a new battery of known freshness.
