Question:

Do kneeling chairs really fix posture?

I've had one for a couple of weeks now and use it for a couple of hours a day. I've always sat with my lower back causing me to hunch over.

Will i notice a difference to my posture when i sit in normal chairs over the next few weeks/months?

  1. I gave up on my kneeling chair last year.  I tried the ball chair also, and it was about the same.  I finally bought a standard desk chair which was designed to support the lower back.  I trained myself to sit with my back snugly against the back support and my feet strait down at a 90 degree angle.  Then I limited my desk work time to 30 minute intervals, taking a 5 minute break between, in which I would walk around.  My back problems have been mostly eliminated.  My opinion, for what it's worth is that the Ball Chair and the Kneeling Chair are not the answer to solving low back pain.

  2. Doubt it.
