  1. Our sun gets hot flashes and that's when the sun gives off solar sparks.

  2. I was until the doctor gave me something for it. I told a guy at work I was having one and too leave me alone. He jumped back like I had a disease I laughed my butt off over that!

  3. Comets and asteroids are more and more starting to look like the same things.  There are asteroids that sprout comet tails from time to time, and there are comets that no longer have tails.  And a meteorite is an asteroid that has made it to the ground.

Comet 9P/Tempel had a hot flash, when the space mission Deep Impact slammed into it.

I suppose you could say that all meteorites had at least one hot flash.  It could be more than one.  An object could skim the Earth's atmosphere, which would slow it down, and it could enter on another pass, eventually landing on the ground.
