Do my parakeets have diahrea?

Question

usually their f***s is light green with goo around it;

but now its black!

help pleasee!

they've never had it before;

they're aobut 3 years old;

blue budgies;

healthy;

they have a good diet consisting of:

seeds, pellets, millet spray, cuttlebone, and fresh fruit/veggies;

pleasee help!

If the stools are black and tarry, your bird is not eating or drinking and should be seen by a vet.

If you're feeding something like blackberries, it will affect the color of the stools.

Blood from the upper gastrointestinal system can also appear as black in the f***s and your bird should be seen by a vet.

no, its not diahrea. its something theyre eating. call a vet, it may be something more serious.
