so a couple weeks ago i woke up at about 4 and went back to bed.

later i opened my eyes and was looking around my room at everything and decided to get up and make breakfast.

i went to get up but couldn't move.

i looked at my hands and legs and tried to move them but nothing was happening.

i began to get really scared and went to call out for my dad,

i opened my mouth and nothing came out.

after about 20 minutes and this i fell back asleep because there was nothing i could do.

when i woke up again i was fine.

has anyone else experienced this??

what is it?

i know this was NOT a dream.

thanks for all answers!:]

  1. Probably sleep paralysis, I've had that happen when I'm beginning to wake up but not completely awake and the paralysis that occurs when sleeping has not yet worn off.

  2. THIS HAPPENES TO ME LIKE EVERYDAY I HATE IT,

  3. It's sleep paralysis. If go to the link below you will find out much more about this.

  4. Happens to me all the time.  It is part of my astral travel/projection.

  5. Happened to me once, dreamed someone was hiding in my closet and was going to hurtme, couldn't scream or anything, sure was glad when I woke up for real and checked the closet out.

  6. That's happened to me before. I will be so tired that it's hard to move my body. Also, when your body is still tired, even if you don't feel tired, your mind won't be so willing to let your body move.

  7. You probably got mentally paralyzed or something like that, but if it was a dream, it would make sence because i usually have dreams like this, its normal in dreams, but if you weren't dreaming you should go and see a doctor
