Do physicians really appreciate clinical pharmacists on hospital floor or they think they are useless?

  1. I think that physicians DO appreciate and value the clinical pharmacists.

Well I'm rather forgetful so if I have a question about something which may potentially hurt my patient I'll run to the phone and call the pharmacy.  I do this routinely and I more than appreciate the expertise of a Pharmacist.  In the real world if one fails to realise that medicine is too complex in 2008 AD to think one can know everything, then this is highly presumptuous.  Pharmaacists are experts in pharmaceutical agents and I call upon my colleagues routinely for help.  There's no shame in admitting when you don't know something or seeking advice from someone more sophisticated in a given area.
