Ah met a mister from Marguarita, and he wanted to take me to dinner...

Going to de airport was a big family affair...even when yuh walkin out to de plane, yuh breaking yuh neck to see the tanty by de lounge.

In Junior Sec. yuh Uncle pull up in he old van (exhaust fumes black fuh so) and park up in front de School waiting fuh yuh. Shame killing yuh’ but yuh have to go because yuh uncle goh tell yuh mammy how yuh keep him waiting and den is noise fuh so. You and de whole village hearing how yuh playing big oman and keeping big people waiting fuh yuh and den is slap sharing like parasad.

Who remembers sittin by de radio on saturday nite and friday nite, tryin to tape songs off de radio and gettin mad when de dj's talk during the song, and by monday morning-kill yuh ded yuh have a bess mixx cassette...Not tuh mention, yuh vex when 3/4 thru d song, dey cut in with a commercial. Yuh even more vex if the song didn't record properly and you have to wait for the next time the song play which could be anytime, especially an old song u like.
