Do we choose our destiny?

Do you believe that your destiny was defined before you got into the world? Or that we ourselves choose one of millions ways to go ahead?

Nothing is written in stone. The path that you choose is your own. The record keeping and planning required for all to have a predetermined path is beyond any omnipotent power. Thinking so is just an excuse that the things that come and go in your life are not your fault. I do believe that Karma as a lot to do with dogma though.

... no we can't, in some sort. For instance, you can decide when to  have a child, but you can never choose for it to be a boy or a girl.. could you?

Anything that happens to us is bound to happen, we can never stop it from happening, the decision we make may only delay it but it will still happen sooner or later, circumstance and situation will put us there, its not a question of we like it or not.  Ever heard of a phrase.. right place wrong time..



Take Judas for example, when he betrayed Jesus, was it his choice, or was it destined to happen to fulfill a prophecy, otherwise Jesus will not be cruxified.  This was defined even before Christ came.

We all have a role to play in this world, to affect others, good or bad, does it matter.  That's the reason for us being here anyways.

God has a plan for each of our lives but He also gave us free will.  We are faced with choices each and every day and the decisions we make determine our destiny.
