Do witches have magical powers??

Question

Do witches really have magical powers besides the power of being able to cast spells? Like, our own special power that we have as witches... I am a witch and i have a power. Do any other witches have powers? Please no rude comments about witches or other rude comments, thankyou

If you're talking about casting fireballs and like the like, then you need serious help. I personally don't believe in magic in the sense that many would. I believe people are capable of manipulation of the chemical, electrical and magnetic forces that are inside every living person, animals and some plant life. All 3 are scientifically proven to be in the body. Its not a far stretch to believe that, for instance, the moon has a strong enough gravitational pull to effect the entire world's oceans and not brain chemicals. Not making werewolves or driving people insane but effect them slightly by pulling chemicals around to different parts of the brain ever so gently.

Are you sure you know what a witch is?

Witches are no more "special" than anyone else nor do they have "powers" that exceed any other person's (maybe more developed, but not powers that everyone doesn't have a little of). They just understand how magick works better than some because they've studied it. Anyone that believes could make a spell work.

Now according to certain reports that have been made available to certain federal law enforcement and other agencies There are suppose to be a few Covens, That have be able to conjure up certain magical situation that give them powers way beyond the normal powers. and wealth and stabilizability that many  other witches covens lack..... And these covens are very assertive and very limited as to who they allow in...... And their location are kept very secret.............

Well I can see ghosts to a degree. Its more like I can sense there presence. My mom can see sometimes and she can hear them really well. There are other senses that anyone can have but pagans seem to be more in tune with it.

Witches practice magic(k) yes but we do not have magical powers so to speak. We cannot physically fly or change shape. The magic we use is energy, bent to our will.

Before answering this, I looked back at previous questions of yours, and I have got to say, it seems you have very little knowledge about both Wicca and witchcraft.

I have been a practicing witch for the past 3 1/2 years, researched it on my own before then.Other than possibly developing a strong psychic sense or very good intuition, or having certain specialty in spells, witches do not get any sort of power because they are one.

I have to say,given the information your provided here, you have a very stereotypical idea of what being a witch is.Perhaps you are watching to much Charmed?

Had you done more research and learned more, you would have spared yourself the five points.As well, witchcraft isn't a game you play or something to make you feel different or more powerful.It is a serious practice that should be respected.
