Do you believe pendulums work?

Question

First of all I'm talking about pendulums as in the crystal type that you ask a yes/no question. I'm not talking about anything related to physics. If you don't know what a pendulum is, then don't answer the question.

I heard something like they work with your subconscious mind, but can someone explain a little more? Do you think they are accurate? Do you think they work? If you have any stories or experiences please list them. Thank you.

I know mine works for me.  When I first started working with it, I asked it simple questions to determine which direction it went to indicate 'yes' and 'no' then moved on to questions I didn't know the answer to but recorded the results to check back on later.  So far, it hasn't let me down.  I have one that is silver with an angel on one end that works great for me.  I have a second one that doesn't work for me but works for my youngest child.

Mine doesn't answer questions, but my kitty absolutely loves playing with it and if you twirl it around above her, she starts purring and acting all lovey (she can't see it.)  She goes nuts for it.  It's a rutilated quartz.

So it does something for Kitty, for sure.  She doesn't respond that way to, say, a piece of string or a regular cat toy--she doesn't notice them unless they're touching her or she can see/smell them.

I have 4.  All different stones, smoky quartz and amethyst, plus two other stones I can't remember.  They seem to work for me.  It may sound weird but in some of the pendulum books I've read, they say to blow on them to clear them.

I asked mine to tell me which way is 'yes/no' and then 'not sure'

I also set mine in the sun to 'recharge' them.  You might try setting it in the sun, it could be that it needs a recharge.  I do notice mine quivering once I take them out of the sun.  They seen to be excited to work for me.

I also ask the pendulum at the store if it's going home with me.  A LOT of them say no, that's why I only have four.

This brings back memories of a few years ago.  I have tried "swinging" pendulums many times, and each time they have definitely swung on their own, and have been accurate in what they are "saying".  I believe they work and I think it is a connection of a few things - energy around us, energy within us, and what our thoughts, which are also energy, contribute at the time.

It is an unknown "science" at this time, but is used quite extensively by many to guide them in many ways.

I never "poo poo" anything.  I am very open minded and have always been that way.  There is much in this Universe that we do not understand or comprehend, but gradually they are coming to the fore.   20 years from now I believe there will be many interesting Universal challenges that will open up to us.  Interesting world, isn't it!

I have two and I think they work fine.

They are both  amethyst. One has chakra crystals on it's chain. The other is plain. Amethyst seems to be a better conduit of psychic energy so I use it for everything.

You can teach yourself.

Just ask it to tell you which is a "Yes" or a "no" answer. never ask the same question twice on the same day, as it will then contradict itself.
