  1. Yes. Ummm thats all I really know about France besides I am taking a French Class.

  2. Bastille was an old fortress used as a prison, the storming of it by a crowd of angry Parisians is the official date of the start of the French revolution. The fortress was torn down and Bastille is now only a big round-about for cars with a column in the middle. There is an opera house by it.

This is what it looks like now:

We never bred turkeys and chicken together. Yuck. You might find mixed poultry nuggets in the junk food area of a supermarket but that's the closest you'll find to that whooper your friend told you.

  3. Bestil is a hostel in Montmartre in Paris. As far as the breeding of chicken and turkey together, I have never heard of it although I live in Brussels (Belgium) which is about 400 Km from Paris.

  4. i actually searched it up for you and i found the map but everything is in their language and i cant understand what they are saying aout it . I TRIED MY BEST :-[

  5. Bastille is the famous French Prison that was stormed

The Storming of the Bastille in Paris occurred on 14 July 1789. While the medieval fortress and prison known as the Bastille contained only seven prisoners, its fall was the flashpoint of the French Revolution and it subsequently became an icon of the French Republic. In France, Le quatorze juillet (14 July) is a public holiday, formally known as the Fête de la Fédération (Federation Holiday). It is usually called Bastille Day in English

  6. Be sure you have the right spelling.  If it is for the old prison/fort, then your friend is talking about Bastille.  If Bastille is what your friend is talking about, then you know their is a grain of truth.  It was a very well known building.

If it is for something else then press your friend for information.  Make sure he knows what he is talking about.

An individual or two might be attempting to breed a chicken and a turkey together.  But this would be an isolated case and certainly not part of main strean culture.  To my knowledge, no one has ever successfully bred a turkey and a chicken.  The animals are too different and can not reproduce.

I've heard of people in the US making Turdunkens, but I've never heard of this in France.
