I have one, but I know I want another. I am also thinking about possibly having a third one day.

I only had one sibling. He is 12 years older than me. So we really don't talk or know each other.

Yes, i always wanted to have a sibling closer in age to me. So I guess thats why I want mine that way too.

I want 3-4 kids...maybe more =o) and I want them all close ages together so they get along and are into the same things.

I grew up with a wretched step sister that is 4 years older than me and I hate her more than anything in this world (and still do) I also have two younger half sisters that are 10 and 14 years younger than me....

I think the number of siblings do have an affect on the number of children I want because I basically grew up as an only child and would like it if my children had someone to lean on and talk to in their time of need.

I think I want 4. I am pregnant with my third now. I basically grew up as an only child. I have 7 half brothers and sisters but they are all much older than me (15-37 years older). I think I was lonely alot as a child and maybe that is why I want my kids to have siblings. I really just love being a mommy though. I am a full time stay at home mom and my kids are my life.
