  1. Sure, I've lived here for 55 years (since I was born) A great country

  2. I LOVE BRAZIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAA One of the best places in the world!!!!!!!!!!

  3. i like their nuts.

  4. Yes, it's good. I've been there a few times, always to the Amazon! It's less developed than its neighbours (Peru,Colombia etc.) but very nice. nobody speaks Enlgish in the countryside so learn some Portuguese before you go. There is a deal on at the moment, you can fly to 5 destinations within three weeks internally with the national airline. My friend was trying to persuade me to do that!

  5. for destroying there rain forest,  ohhhhhh sure love em like a landfill.

other than that i hear theyre ok

  6. You must really come for the Brazil. Is very good. And that history of monkeys is everything madness! And I know about that.Am Brazilian and I am speaking of the Brazil.

    I love that place!

  7. Brazil is a good country. I live there. The people say bad about it, but it is a beautiful country, the sea, the population, all.

The crime exists, of course, but it's not how the people in another countries say. I think you'll like to travel to Brazil. Is there much places, Minas Gerais, Rio de Janeiro, Salvador, São Paulo...

    You'll like it!

  8. Never been there.

  9. What I loved about Brazil (travelled there for a month): the best popcorn in the world!!, New Year's Eve on Copacabana beach, the fruit, Salvador de Bahia, the cafes where you pay for your food according to the weight, the Corcovado.

What I didn't like: not being able to understand a word, feeling enormous in my swimsuit on the beach.

  10. I love Brazil.

    Excelent beaches

    Nice and happy people

    Good climate

    Inexpensive  (US$ 1 = R$ 2.12)

But if you are going from US you need a visa.

  11. It depends what you want to see:

If you want to see indians, huge forest, trees, beautiful nature, strange animals and the biggest river in the world (the only one that support big Transatlantic Sailing Ships navigating over it), go to amazon forest (Travel to Manaus and find a guide there). Manaus also has one of the most beautiful Opera-houses in the world.

If you go by business or want REALLY GOOD food, go to São Paulo (it's the second-biggest metropolis in the world - 11m ppl, 20m counting the neighbour cities). It's the best place in brazil to business encounters, events, cultural tours, cinema, theatres, nightlife, and realy realy good food of ALL AROUND THE WORLD. São Paulo is the biggest japanese city outside japan, the biggest italian city outside italy, the biggest libanese city outside libano, and the same for portuguese, spanish and german. It's the most important financial center of Latin America, and the city alone is responsive for almost 40% of all brazilian economy.

If you want to see the major postcards (like the giant statue of Christ known as Christ the Redeemer), beautiful beaches and the true Samba, go to Rio de Janeiro. The city has a spectacular natural setting, beautiful nature and cool people.

If you want the biggest popular party in the world (2.3 million ppl in the streets at the same time, a Guiness Book record), go to Salvador in carnival. Salvador is also a very culturally rich city, being a bastion of Afro-Brazilian customs and ways. It was the first capital of Brazil and contains many fine colonial buildings. Its Historic Center has been designated a World Heritage Site by Unesco.

If you want cold, snow, german-like people, german food and drinks, german architecture, go to the south (Curitiba, Florianopolis or Porto Alegre).

If you want adventure and beautiful places, go to Chapada Diamantina (the most beautiful and magic place in the world, really), Chapada dos Veadeiros, Bonito, Cataratas do Iguaçu, Caraça - MG...

There a lot of good places to know, Brasil is a world inside of a country. There's a lot of places that I didn't mention, but you can take a more general glace at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brasil

But doesn't matter the place you'll go, you will be very well recepted. People in all Brasil are VERY kind and will be very pleased to guide you and show you everything.

  12. while i lived there, i enjoyed it.. the beaches were beautiful, and the climate was extraordinary. i loved that i could explore a lot, especially since im from an island where exploration is one of our favourite hobbies.

its a larger country, so travelling within it is great. i like that there was so much diversity and that i could speak english to people. however, i hated how there was poverty and richness so close together, it was upsetting to me.

personally, im glad i dont live there anymore.. its not my type of place. as beautiful as it is, i felt like when i was there, my life was very lazy which is great for some, but at the moment im a student going into university soon and laziness can kill you at that point!

go there if you want to relax. but dont go anywhere your tour guides wont let you, unless you want to be hit with the harsh realities.

  13. yes, the land the songs and the people

  14. I love it. That person up there said everything.

  16. I don't like Brazil, I LOVE IT!!!  There is a motto from a tourism agency from Brazil that says:  "Brazil is many countries, come visit them all"  There is a jerk up there that said something about destruction of rain forest, this and that...Shut up!  QWERT said most of it...very good, best answer...I am a native, but live in NY for 25 years... I go twice a year and preparing to go back for good...When i arrive there, i get emotional...my heart is content..the people, the food, shopping, entertainment, hanging out on one of many beaches, to mention a feel of them...I hope you have a good time there...Peace and Love..
