  1. i think it's a great idea that should have been implemented years before it was...it gives the fans a chance to see unusual matchups and maybe even some possible world series encounters...it breaks up the monotony of playing teams within the league over and over and over again, especially with the unbalanced schedule now in place where teams play their divisional foes 18-19 times a year

  2. Yes because it creates intriguing match ups not normally seen and it recreates history by matching up teams who faced in previous World Series.

  3. In late October, yes.

During the spring and early summer, no, not really. Postseason berths should not be decided by non-competitor teams. And outside of the obvious, local headliner series, there's mainly some serious dead dogs that get played -- snore. I realize it's not going to go away but it should be trimmed back to 10-12 games max.

  4. Yes. Why?

    Cubs vs. White Sox

    Yankees vs. Mets

    Indians vs. Reds

    Angels vs. Dodgers

    Giants vs. A's

    Need I say more?

  5. no i don't.  Steinbrenner has a point where the pitchers shouldn't have to run for fear of getting injured.  think about Jared Weaver a few weeks ago.  He could have thrown a no hitter and made his career but he was lifted for a pinch hitter (who grounded out to the pitcher by the way).  It is completely unfair how in close races (AL east and central) there are these two weeks of total superiority over the NL.  It completely separates the top two spots from the AL divisions from the rest of the division.  In every AL division in 2005 the top two spots had a over .500 record in interleauge play.  and then in the NL the winning records are all spread out throughout the divisions.  My opinion:  keep spring training interleauge and separate the leagues until the playoffs.

  6. Yes I do, because I want every Major League Team to play every Major League Team does that make sense, The Milwaukee Brewers played 29 other Teams in Baseball all 29 and its all because Interleague Play I like It and I want to keep it.

  7. Yeah. I wish it was regular only put the DH rule in the NL to even the playing field

I like seeing teams we only get one series againts every few yrs. I like watching ther rare pitching duels you can only get once

    Josh Beckett vs. Jake Peavy

    Roy Halladay vs. Brandon Webb

And seeing some players hit in the great stadiums

I want to see Prince Fielder take shots at the Green Monster

Albert Pujols homer in the House that Ruth Built

Grady Sizemore crash into the ivory at Wrigley to take a base hit away from Alfonso Soriano

I love to be taken back to the great moments of World Series History by seeing matchups for the first time since memoriable World Series (Yankees/Pirates, Reds/Red Sox, Dodgers/Yankees)

Bill Mazorowski's winning Homer to beat the Yanks in 1960

Carlton Fisk's magical HR off the foul pole in Gmae 6 of the 75 World Series

Reggie Jackson  cementing his Mr. October Legacy w/3 HRs off Dodger pitching in the final game of the 78 world series

  8. Yeah because it gets boring every year playing with teams in your league.

  9. Nope, who needs to see team play games that really don't mean anything.  I don't want to see the Cubs play games against the WhiteSox, Orioles, Blue Jays and Rays when they could be playing teams in their divisions.  After all the Cubs aren't trying to win the American League.  It was fun for a while but now it's old.

On the plus side it gives everyone a chance to laugh and the Yankees and Hank Steinbrenner for complaining his pitchers have to run.  What happens Hank, when they have to cover first on a grounder against the Red Sox.  Somebody drives them to first in a golf cart?

  10. i like it becaus e it gives teams a chance to see how the other leagues teams play , and they could meet in the ws
