I like comic-book cosplay. I dislike anime cosplay as the style of art's to robotic and prismatic to really make the characters look human.

I love seeing all the original costumes.  It's so creative... Sometimes, I'll see a character that I didn't think was possilbe to make a costume for but somehow someone was able to recreate it down to very specific details... cool!

No, as I just can't pull it off well enough. Not so much the costume, but the attitude. THAT is a workout

in a way...i want to cosplay myself.

but it bugs me when im searching for photos and images on flickr of anime, and these cosplay people keep shoiwng up..grrrr

COSPLAY ROCKS!! Lol. Sorry for the outburst. It is really fun to go out and dress as an anime character with your friends. Especially at Anime Expos. It just ruins it when people try to make theyre own costumes (unless its really good), when they just wear the clothes with no wigs or makeup etc., or when guys dress up as girls... But I personally think that the Japanese are more built for the role of cosplaying. Theyre hair and bodies fit the animes most of the time that theyre playing as.

I don't do it but personally I think it's really only good when the Japanese fans do it.
