Cucumber kim chee with daikong (sp?) (the yellow pickled radish) is our favorite .. friend of ours gave us the recipe and we make it whenever we get a craving for it.

I'm Japanese, so I  may not be helpful to you. But I love it, too!! so cucumber, Japanese radish, and nappa cabbage......I think It helps all vegetables to be delicious.......yum!!

Yes! It is very good.   I'm american and was a little timid to try it, but I found it to have a really nice taste and it was yummy with some spicy beef and rice.

Yes I do. My father was a Marine and acquired a taste for it in Korea. I grew up with it. I even make my own during cool weather. Most people do not realize how many kinds there are. Kim Chee can be any kind of pickled vegetables. I especially like turnip greens with baby turnips.

Edit: If anyone is close to Orange County (Ca.) The Korean market at Garden Grove Blvd. and Ball Rd. had, last time I counted over 20 different kinds. They actually have more than that but some are seasonal. I moved to Ok. 15 yr. ago and that is one of our stops when we visit. Along with Trader Joe's.
