yes because it keeps you in shape, it is also a lot of fun to go out with friends and just hit. it is also a lot of fun to just go and train with my coach. even though i would rather not train and work so hard, i know i am getting better always so i keep going. i have met a lot of nice and fun people at tournaments or out with my coach. Yes, I like tennis.  I absolutely love watching tennis especially when the U.S. Open comes because the matches on the Men's side get very exciting when it gets to 5 sets (although I know this is hard on the body).

I enjoy tennis because I've always liked sports with a net that you hit the ball over. I wanted to play a different game other than basketball or football (because I wasn't that good at those). I also enjoy how tennis brings out the fire and fun in me. I like this as much as I like volleyball, badminton, and baseball.

Tennis is so the best sport ever. People who don't play tennis don't get it. You have to play to understand the love people have for the game.

I love it 'cause it keeps you in shape, and you get tan. The thrill of winning or hitting a killer shot or serve is the best. I love tennis and the more I play the more I want to play. It is so addicting.

I grew up not liking tennis.  I always thought it was a rich kid's game, and I never knew much about it.  I started playing when I was 28 and have been playing for 3 years (at least 4 times a week).  Tennis is a sport that isn't fully appreciated till you play it.  I don't just like the sport - I love it.  I love the competition, the battles, and the way you can really immerse yourself in the game.

Fun and interesting, not like running yawn.  You can have a favorite player to watch and the cute clothes and hot guys don't hurt either

I didn't like tennis as much until my senior year in high school. What lead me into tennis is... well.... >___> .. because of Prince of Tennis.

Anyways, the show got boring because it took about 5+ more eps to watch a singles match.

Tennis is like my drug. I can't live without it and It's addicting!

I like tennis because:

- it is a sport for a lifetime, folks 5-95 are able to play,

- it keeps you in shape, not many overweight tennis players,

- you meet nice people, the % of cheats and jerks appears to reflect the total population, or perhaps, even a bit lower

- it is fun to watch, from the local kid's tournaments to the pro's, attending a tennis match is enjoyable, and

- hitting a ball is fun

Tennis is a perfect blend of Physical, mental and emotional. It also is a very good sport for self-confidence: If you win, you know that you are really better than the other person, and at the Pro levels the competition is so intense!
