It is not a logical statement because it's corollary would be that all the events of the world both good and bad, have been done by people who love themselves.

Wars and persecutions have been 'done' but, so far as I know, they are not claimed to be the works of people who 'love' themselves. Concentration camps were huge constructions not made by loving hands.They were more often the acts of  meglomaniacs.

As it stands, it is a soothing statement that has severe limitations.
