  1. definitely tofu.

    IMO the fermented flavor of tempeh makes it more difficult to use.  there is a smaller variety of recipes that it can be used in.

    tofu, on the other hand, can be made into smoothies, main dishes, breakfast, lunch, or dinner. dessert, just about ANYTHING! tofu is a wonderful food and i <3 it.


  2. Definitely tofu! It's so widely available, not to mention versatile. You can have the smooth, steamed kind or tofu pieces fried to a crisp or tofu that's been marinaded or barbecued. You can do a lot of that with tempeh, too, but eating tempeh always makes me feel like I'm at a health foods store in 1970s California with all of the grains and such. It doesn't have the versatility or the ability to blend in with many kids of foods that tofu does.

  5. Tofu because you can do way more with it and make it with and into almost anything! Tofu scramble, tofu sandwich, tofu ice cream, tofu smoothie, tofu chicken, tofu fish, etc. Tempeh is good but I have not done much wit it yet.
