My first ball made was as a child playing with the parents. I can't even remember where it was much less which ball or pocket. Hats off to those that can.

Fondest memory is playing  Bobby, the best player at the local Boys Club....bout 45+ years ago....you had to take a seat....about 10-12 in line and all filled and you worked up to get your turn...winner of course stayed up....the new player got to pick the name...after something like an hour...it seemed....I came up and called "61"....actually "rotation" but that was what we called it......he broke the rack.....made 40+ points on the break....I shot maybe once....he got the 61 points almost right away and I went and sat back down to wait another hour for another game!!!!...we only had one table and may 3 cue sticks!!....been looking for his A#! since to get a rematch!!

the first time i "attempted" to hit a ball was when I was like 7...never really had the yearn to play til I was 17...my aunt owns a bar, so I'd always play there til I turned 21..my first shots were horrible..haha...but of course to me, I thought I was the best in the world...we all did...of course now though, I have respect for the game..singing along to Kenny Rogers "the gambler"...haha...now now, i'm not saying i'm a badass or anything like that....i just love to shoot..and stand my ground :)..Dre O

the very first monney I ever won was I in a old local pool hall here in ala I live in a small town the high school team was playing football no one was in the pool hall axcept the owner which was in a wheel chare and his house player and me the house man ask if I wanted to play a few games for five a game I told him I was not in his class he kept on so I said ok one game I had seem do this before let you win the first game or two then burn you thats why I said one game sure enough he let me win the game he paid me the five and I walked out later we had a good time about it he said I put a good one over on him

Yes I played a guy they use to call the fish, couldn't help but win!. then I started playing others, as they came along.

The first game that I ever won was in the fifth grade.  We were all at one of those school roller-skating parties and there was a pool table at the roller rink.  This kid wanted to play a game for $2.  I ended up winning the game on a full-table kick shot on the 8-ball.  M.D.-BCA Instructor/Referee.
