  1. Yes, just before the other guy, Cavic, glided into the wall, Phelps brought his arms around and slapped the wall, 0.01 second before Cavic. The clocks sensors don't lie and they reviewed it and decided that it Phelps did win.

  2. It was very close, but the clock is automated, so it is not a case of human error.  The clock never lies, so Phelps did win by 0.01.  Truly amazing...he will go down in history for decades.

  3. The "Touch Plate" has a microswitch mounted behind it.  While Cavic MAY have touch the plate first, he didn't touch it with enough force to activate the switch quickly.  Phelps hit the plate so hard that his microswitch activated first.

  4. he defiantly won it was electronically counted and he just has longer arms i guess (don't you support your own team?) oh well if your not american then i understand...

  5. Umm...yeah.  (here's a tip...don't tell anyone you think he didn't)

  6. holy $hit dat was close!! but he won go PHELPS

  7. Of course he won.

  8. It was based on electronic systems. He won.

  9. in slow mo i still cant tell he touched first..
